The Ides of September – National Preparedness Month – are upon us! From the devastating wildfires and air pollution throughout our Western states or the slow-moving Hurricane Sally lurking over the Gulf Coast to the endless global pandemic, now more than ever is the time for us to stay vigil and be prepared and ready to respond.
NCAPER – National Coalition for Arts’ Preparedness & Emergency Response is a network of national arts service partner organizations who help reinforce a safety net for the arts and cultural communities facing crises and disasters. NCAPER coordinates communication efforts among arts communities who can share their concerns, impacts and unmet needs with our partners who can identify potential impacts and/or issues impeding response and recovery. NCAPER is here to connect your cultural community with national public and private resources to facilitate your road to recovery - please let us know how we can help at www.ncaper.org; www.artsready.org; www.cerfplus.org; www.actorsfund.org; www.grammy.com/musicares; www.performingartsreadiness.org; www.joanmitchellfoundation.org; www.nasaa-arts.org; www.giarts.org; www.nyfa.org; www.arts.gov; www.artsusa.org; www.npnweb.org
